Steps for Repair

1. Remove the Bumper Cover

After disconnecting the battery, use the flathead screwdriver and socket wrench to remove the bolts and clips holding the bumper cover on. Carefully pull it off and set it aside.

2. Locate the Headlight Washer

The headlight washer assembly is located directly below the headlight. Look for a cylindrical component attached to a fluid line.

3. Remove the Old Headlight Washer

Using the pliers, disconnect the fluid line leading to the headlight washer. Use the socket wrench to remove the washer unit.

4. Install the New Washer

Before installing the new washer, apply a small amount of silicone sealant to its edges. Attach it in the same place as the old washer and connect the fluid line.

5. Reinstall Bumper Cover

Once the new washer is installed, put the bumper cover back on. Reattach it using the clips and bolts that were previously removed. Then, reconnect the battery.

6. Test the New Washer

Turn the vehicle on and activate the headlight washer to ensure it is working correctly. If it is not, refer back to your vehicle's specific repair manual or consult a professional mechanic.
